Operational Resilience Specialist 100% (f/m/d)

• Shape, drive and support the design of the operational resilience framework in alignment with regulatory expectations, industry standards and the overall risk appetite of the bank
• Provide global 2nd Line of Defense leadership for Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management, setting direction and ensuring consistent challenge across jurisdictions
• Lead the identification of critical functions, the mapping of end-to-end dependencies and the definition of impact tolerances
• Oversee the design and execution of severe but plausible scenario tests to validate the organisation's ability to recover within acceptable time frames
• Challenge the adequacy of first line controls, recovery capabilities, service continuity plans, and resilience design decisions
• Govern the operational resilience lifecycle from risk identification to remediation, including oversight of incidents, root cause analysis, and lessons learned
• Ensure global harmonisation between Julius Baer’s Operational Resilience Framework and diverse regulatory requirements across regions
• Collaborate closely with Business Continuity Management, Technology, Information Security, Compliance, Internal Audit, and key business functions to ensure an integrated approach
• Lead the preparation of management level and board level reporting, providing transparency on vulnerabilities, dependencies and the resilience posture of the organisation
• Represent the function in internal committees and in interactions with supervisory authorities

• Senior level expertise with at least five years' experience in Operational Resilience; Business Continuity Management and Non-financial Risk management within a financial institution, consulting firm, or large corporation
• Strong understanding of operational dependencies across technology, suppliers, business processes, and critical services
• Demonstrated experience in scenario design, business impact analysis, continuity planning, and resilience testing
• Proven ability to challenge first line stakeholders using clear reasoning and evidence-based assessments
• Hands on approach and the willingness to analyse processes, data sets, and control environments in detail
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks including FINMA, DORA, and global resilience standards
