As digital technologies continue to drive global growth, we are expanding our team and offer exciting opportunities for experienced professionals to join us in key locations such as the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and South Africa.What you do as a Junior Electrical Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres)As a Junior Electrical Engineer you must prove yourself to some of the most demanding customers in the world and work pro-actively with our colleagues across the globe. Beyond the standard features of a building, our MCF projects require specific and advanced knowledge and skills. What our clients have in common, is the need for a proactive Electrical Engineer. With your technical and 3D/BIM modelling skills, you know how to efficiently engineer and model design. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Engineering the electronic design in project teams. Of course, under the guidance of the Lead Engineer;
  • Develop diagrams of the electrical installation and coordinate with other disciplines for the initial space reservations;
  • Modelling the electrical installation in 3D Revit/BIM based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations;
  • Implement your knowledge based on functionality, mountability, accessibility and maintainability into the model to ensure that the contractor can build it according to our model without revising it.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team where your work will be cross borders, native and home based. In addition to participating in projects, you naturally also contribute to the optimization of our internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within your field. This team provides consultancy services for data centre clients and includes professionals from various fields such as engineering, construction, and architecture. The team works on integrated designs for data centers and has completed various projects. Working with this team means joining a leading market and a dedicated and passionate team. You will be employed by NEXT Haskoning Switzerland AG, the collaboration between local Swiss firm Confirm AG and Haskoning.What you bringYou are an entrepreneurial, result oriented, proactive individual with a positive flexible and problem-solving attitude. Besides that, you have:
  • A bachelor and/or master degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • Preferably 2 years relevant work experience;
  • Experience with Revit and integrated design;
  • Good command of the English language.
