Assess, analyse, structure, approve, implement and monitor Mortgage credit requests / transactions across private mortgages, income producing real estate (IPRE), construction and development loans. Provide credit advisory service to internal clients and work hand-in-hand with Mortgage Advisors and RM’s (first line of defense) to customise appropriate solutions for the end clients.YOUR CHALLENGEPreparation and approval of credit limits within the delegated credit approval authority (depending on risk rating and amount)Determination of risk rating for a credit facilityAssessment of borrower & collateral with regards to credit, structural, legal & compliance and reputational riskIdentification of concentration risk in collateral and / or exposureOngoing monitoring of credit exposure; resolving of overdue debt services,Regular review of approved limits within the assigned portfolioAdministration duties within the portfolio, e.g. mortgage booking and proper credit documentationDeputize other Mortgage Officers & Team Head in their absenceSupport Mortgage Advisors in all credit related matters and establish regular and proactive contact, providing advisory credit training to Private Banking front officeContribution in credit related projects and process improvementsWork with legal and external counsel to draft non-standard documents related to credit transactionsPreparation and performing of training session for Mortgage Officers and Mortgage AdvisorsYOUR PROFILEBachelor's degree or completed studies at a university of applied sciences (economics, banking, finance, law), or equivalent education or professional experienceSeveral years of professional experience in the mortgage sector with focus on IPRE, additional Commercial Real Estate knowledge is and advantageInterest in the functioning of financial markets and financial institutionsProven knowledge of the relevant real estate marketsProfound knowledge on legal aspect regarding mortgage documents and borrowing structuresGood IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent analytical skills, independent, reliable, and team-oriented personality with negotiating skillsFull professional proficiency in German and English (written and spoken), additional languages are an advantageWe are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
