- Lead and / or contribute to external and internal corporate financing arrangements (e.g. bonds issuances, RCF refinancings, loan lending)
- Drive preparation of credit rating reviews with leading external rating agencies, own rating models and conduct insightful scenario analysis
- Act as coordinator of relationships with external banks, prepare and conduct service level reviews, drive operational quality, and negotiate competitive fees
- Lead and / or support balance sheet optimization initiatives and analytics
- Create high quality analysis and presentations to support decision making
- Develop robust analytical models and perform ad hoc analysis
- Proactively generate value enhancing initiatives in Global Treasury
- Work with internal stakeholders, including finance, tax, legal, capital markets and risk management teams, to ensure the best outcome for Partners Group
- University degree in (quantitative) finance, economics, or a related quantitative field. MBA, CFA or Treasury designation such as SCT or ACT is preferred
- Minimum of 7 - 9 years of experience in treasury management in an international company, with a focus on financing (e.g. bonds and credit facilities), rating agency models, and bank relationships
- Hands-on experience in capital market transactions such as bond issuances and credit lines
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets, establish complex models and distilling the relevant conclusions (e.g. SQL, Power Query)
- Working experience of Treasury Management Systems and data-bases (e.g. SAP-TRM, WSS)
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills in bank services and financing
- Winning team player skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior members of the treasury team
- Strong appetite working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment, self-motivated with a hands-on attitude
- Proficient in English, German a plus
