Under the guidance and supervision of the Chief of Evaluation and Learning (CELO), and in coordination with senior specialists and other team members, the Evaluation and Learning Specialist will carry out the following tasks:Project ManagementProvide dedicated support for end-to-end management of evaluation projectsEnsure the timely and efficient implementation of evaluation work; develop solutions to project challenges and identify key risksOversee the development and execution of evaluation and learning plansManage communication with evaluation oversight bodies, internal stakeholders, and external partnersSupport the coordination of management responses and ensure appropriate dissemination of evaluation outputsTechnical SupportConduct scoping reviews and syntheses to inform evaluationsReview and edit evaluation reports for quality and clarity, ensuring integration of stakeholder inputsApply analytical and technical expertise to resolve divergent feedback and ensure coherenceContribute to the development of strategic documents, including committee papers, briefs, and presentationsLearning and DisseminationDevelop syntheses, summaries, and presentations for assigned evaluationsCollaborate with internal teams to create dissemination materials and ensure timely publicationFacilitate use of evaluation findings in strategic, policy, and operational decision-making processesCoordinate internal input for the annual synthesis report summarizing key findings, recommendations, uptake, and management responses18 month interim mission You are available to start in AugustEssential Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 7 years of professional experience in international development or global health, including at least 1 year in disease-specific programs or health systems in implementing contextsExtensive experience in evaluation, public health research, or implementation scienceStrong background in project managementPrevious work experience related to major global health financing mechanismsAdvanced degree in public health, epidemiology, international development, or related fieldDesirableMinimum 5 years managing complex, multi-country global health projectsExperience overseeing large-scale or country-level evaluations and contractor managementProfessional experience in implementing countriesFamiliarity with independent evaluation functions in global health institutionsInternational organization based in Geneva.Interim contract from August 2025 until December 2026.
