Contract Duration: Q4 2026We’re seeking a Technical Project Manager to support a large-scale cloud migration project within the energy and utilities space. The role will be embedded within the infrastructure/platform team and is focused on leading the re-platforming of legacy applications to Microsoft Azure, following a lift-and-optimize approach.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end re-platforming of applications from on-premise data centers to Azure.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Execute migration plans that meet technical, compliance, and security standards.
- Oversee all phases of the migration: planning, environment setup, testing, cutover, and validation.
- Report regularly to platform leadership and project governance bodies.
- Strong technical background in on-prem infrastructure (VMware, legacy databases, networking).
- Hands-on experience with Azure migrations (IaaS, networking, governance, operations).
- 5+ years in IT project management, ideally with cloud or infrastructure focus.
- Experience managing complex, phased migrations in enterprise settings.
- Proficient in tools like Jira, Confluence; strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- Azure and/or Project Management certifications.
- Experience in the energy or utilities sector.
