Reporting to the Advisory Manager, the Engagement Lead will:
  • Structure and lead the engagement from initiation through final deliverables, in accordance with established advisory methodology.
  • Drive project execution: ensuring milestones, quality of deliverables, and timely escalation of issues.
  • Lead daily work planning with the Advisory Associate and weekly problem-solving/review sessions with the Advisory Manager.
  • Conduct in-depth diagnostic and benchmarking analyses and develop implementable recommendations.
  • Deliver clear, evidence-based presentations and reports to internal stakeholders, including executive-level briefings.
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement across functions and levels, building consensus and aligning on findings and options.
  • Apply rigorous project management and change facilitation practices.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and support to the Advisory Associate throughout the engagement.
Deliverables
  • Project Plan outlining analysis workstreams and key milestones
  • Fieldwork Findings from interviews, data review, process mapping, benchmarking, etc.
  • Draft and Final Recommendations Report, including future-state options and roadmap
  • Stakeholder Engagement Materials: presentations, briefs, and verbal debriefings
  • Team Leadership and Oversight: collaborative planning, timely reviews, and coaching
Temporary position starting as soon as possible 4 month-contractEssential
  • Extensive experience in top-tier strategy or management consulting as a Team Lead or Project Manager
  • Demonstrated experience conducting departmental/function reviews (HR, IT, Finance, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HR organizational models, performance diagnostics, and change implementation
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in multicultural environments
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and deliver high-impact insights
  • Ability to work discreetly with confidential and sensitive information
Desirable
  • 3+ years at a leading management consulting firm or equivalent internal strategy team
  • Experience in HR transformation, people strategy, or process optimization
  • Experience in international development or working with large public-sector or non-profit institutions
  • Familiarity with public health or health financing environments
International organization based in Geneva.Interim contract starting end of August until December. Can be extended depending on the project needs.
