- Administer and monitor a varied client portfolio within the timescales set and agreed - investigating and suggesting enhancements where necessary, ensuring timely and effective client care
- Work closely with the 2 managing directors and one other senior trust officer for the initial set up of new structures, including opening of accounts, putting in place necessary agreements etc
- Maintain a liaison with clients and their advisers, gathering information regarding their affairs, in order to provide good services and ascertain their needs are fulfilled and structure remains adapted to their evolving needs
- Carry out instructions such as arranging transfers and other administrative tasks as requested by clients, promptly and accurately
- All work in relation with the portfolio of team clients including the review of complex structures and the obtaining of legal and tax opinions where required
- Maintain good relationship with banks /investment managers on behalf of the clients
- Be responsible for collection own client's fee notes
- Maintain clear and proper records in a professional manner, including to the database
- The occasional drafting of simple trust deeds and trust administration documents (resolutions etc.) as well as agreements- in this regard working regularly with external legal counsel + closely with their UK senior lawyer
- Ensure a prompt and professional service is provided to clients and intermediaries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client entities, ensuring all statutory obligations are complied with
- Promote the range of services the Group can provide to existing clients within the portfolio and identify new business opportunities
- Adhere to Risk & Associate compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management
- 5-10 years+ experience in trusts administration, client relationship management
- Masters or Bachelor degree as well as STEP qualified preferred
- Excited by the idea of being part of a small but growing office and close-knit team
- Confirmed experience and knowledge of complex trust and corporate structures
- Strong client relationship skills essential
- A clear understanding of fiduciary responsibilities
- Pro-active, team spirit, well organised
- Good communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
- A hands-on, "hands-dirty" person (no job too big or too small)
- Ability to contribute to and improve the existing work directives and procedures
- Strong IT and computer skills
- Fluent/bilingual English; some French or other languages a plus
- Eligible to work in Switzerland if not already in possession of a Swiss work permit or passport (frontalier ok) - should ideally be already based locally
- Available to start ASAP preferred for this full-time, permanent contract (those on a notice period of course also seriously considered too)
