- Conduct a focused assessment on the current state of the HDP nexus implementation based on publications of selected international and national actors.
- Identify and document critical gaps in existing HDP Nexus-relevant projects and programmes.
- Synthesize findings into a clear well-structured summary report and presentation to communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support for the development of the C4NS’ operational plans, aligned with identified needs and priorities.
- Contribute to the creation of publicly accessible knowledge platform by curating and making available key publications on the HDP Nexus and its implementation.
- Be part of an international, multi-disciplinary team, contributing to its exchanges, learning, and collective strategic thinking processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Development, Humanitarian Studies, Peacebuilding, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Experience in conducting needs assessments, gap analyses, or similar research.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex issues and provide actionable insights and compelling outputs for diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required for this position.
- Proficiency in using commonly used software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the principles and values of humanitarian aid, development, and peacebuilding.
- Previous experience working with international or national non-profit organisations.
- Familiarity with the HDP nexus and related policy frameworks.
- Understanding of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) approaches and methodologies.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
