
Commissioning technician

- Commissioning of signalling systems (ETCS and/or Class B systems) on rail vehicles, support during the warranty period and conducting training courses.
- You will work in technical customer service, assist with troubleshooting (remote support and on-site support) and create corresponding error reports and written documentation of all work performed.
- Analysis of incoming customer tickets (based on ETCS logs, JRU data, train diagnostics and customer descriptions).
- Collaboration in the training and instruction of internal and external employees, as well as monitoring of work performance and results.
- You will be the direct interface to the Stadler project team, ETCS suppliers and customers.
- You have completed vocational training in electrical installation, automation technology, power electronics or mechatronics, or have a comparable qualification. Further training in TS/HF technology is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the hardware and functionality of rail vehicle system integration and/or ETCS, as well as experience in the warranty phase or commissioning in connection with rail vehicles and/or ETCS, would be an advantage.
- You work independently and on your own initiative, are highly flexible and have strong communication skills. You are interested in working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
- You are willing to spend 30-80% of your working time on national and international business trips within Europe and have a category B driving licence.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
