Our products are designed to make financial systems more efficient, secure, and robust.We are seeking a Client Lead, a senior client-facing role responsible for owning client relationships, representing client interests internally, and driving the sale and expansion of Blockstream’s services across enterprise and institutional accounts.Operating within the Service & Enterprise Solutions organization, the Client Lead acts as the primary commercial and relationship owner for assigned clients. This role works closely with the Director, Head of Delivery, as well as Solutions, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure client needs are understood, prioritized, and translated into successful service engagements.While delivery execution and solution architecture are owned by peer roles, the Client Lead is accountable for client satisfaction, account growth, and service adoption, ensuring Blockstream is a trusted long-term partner to its clients.What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of client programs by identifying opportunities, positioning and selling services, and orchestrating cross-functional program teams, to deliver complex engagements from initial scoping through sustained client value.Own and manage senior client relationships for enterprise and institutional customers across banking, custody, payments, and digital asset environmentsAct as the primary point of contact for clients, representing their interests internally across Delivery, Solutions, Product, and Engineering teamsEngage clients to identify needs, shape service opportunities, and sell Blockstream’s services, including implementation, integration, and ongoing supportPartner with Solutions and Delivery leadership to shape client engagements, ensuring scope, value proposition, and expectations are clearly definedDrive account planning, pipeline development, and service expansion across assigned clientsSupport pre-sales and deal shaping activities, including proposal development, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiationsEnsure clear alignment between client expectations, contracted scope, and delivery outcomesMonitor client satisfaction, proactively address concerns, and manage escalations in partnership with Delivery leadershipCoordinate and lead client governance forums, including steering committees, QBRs, and executive reviewsAct as the voice of the client internally, feeding structured feedback into Product, Solutions, and Service teamsContribute to go-to-market initiatives, client references, and case studiesWhat We Look for In You (Required Qualifications)7-10 years of experience in client management, account management, consulting, or service sales roles within fintech, financial services, or technology infrastructureProven success managing and growing enterprise or institutional client accountsStrong experience selling and managing professional services, platform services, or complex technology solutionsDemonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholdersExperience working in regulated environments such as banking, custody, payments, or capital marketsStrong commercial acumen, including deal structuring, pricing, and contract managementSelf-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies, demonstrating high-quality and high-touch customer engagement throughout all phases of deliveryExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with technical, delivery, and product teamsLanguages: Swiss German, German, and English required; French highly preferred for Geneva market; Italian a plusLocation: Switzerland, with focus on Zurich and Geneva as primary locationsNice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications)Experience working with blockchain, digital asset, or crypto infrastructure platformsBackground in consulting, system integration, or managed services organizationsFamiliarity with custody, payments, treasury, or capital markets systemsExperience managing multi-year enterprise service engagementsInterest in progressing into Director-level client or commercial leadership roles
