
DevOps Engineer - GenAI Platform

This platform plays a critical role in the department by providing the other platforms with DevSecOps capabilities, cloud infrastructure solutions and architecture expertise. Your focus will be on designing, developing and operating the infrastructure for a centralised GenAI platform primarily built around AWS Bedrock, with additional services and governance controls.
Your work will support platform users by applying best practices, delivering reusable components and promoting the responsible use of GenAI capabilities.Your role
- Designing, rolling out and managing secure and scalable infrastructure on AWS.
- Contributing to the development and governance of a centralised GenAI platform, acting as a wrapper for AWS Bedrock APIs.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support the Lifecycle platform features.
- Developing and maintaining Terraform modules and templates to achieve standardised infrastructure provisioning.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends in GenAI infrastructure, LLM usage and cloud DevOps practices.
- Promoting and supporting best practices in MLOps, cloud-native development and platform engineering.
- Implementing monitoring, notification and insight solution for all shared platform services.
- Providing platform support and technical expertise to product teams adopting GenAI capabilities.
- Contributing to platform documentation and onboarding material for user enablement.
- Monitoring GenAI emerging technology and industry trends, to offer and implement innovative platform features (e.g. MCP Inventory, A2A).
- Solid experience in a DevOps, site reliability engineering or software infrastructure engineering role.
- Deep understanding of AWS services, particularly related to AI (e.g. Bedrock).
- Strong experience in Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.
- Familiarity with multi-tenant cloud platforms and governance models.
- Understanding of AI/ML workflows and platforms such as Kubeflow, SageMaker or similar.
- Hands-on experience in building or integrating LLM-based services or platforms; would be a big plus.
- Proficiency in Git and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes and EKS); would be a plus.
- AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform certification; would be an advantage.
- A genuine team player, with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
- Fluency in English.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
