For our client, an international company based in Zurich, we are looking for a Project Manager Delivery Projects (m/w/d).General Information:

Duration: 5-6 months (with a possibility for extension or a permanent position)
Working Hours: 80 - 100%
Home-Office: after agreement with the manager
Your responsibilities:Manage technical projects for steel structures, from the initial sales phase through design, production, and final on-site assemblyTake full technical and commercial responsibility for project execution, ensuring all work complies with relevant standards, timelines, budgets, and material specificationsCollaborate with sales, project management, engineering, and customers to define and refine project requirementsServe as the key liaison between our Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) project engineering and steel support engineering teamsLead and coordinate project engineering activities for teams in Brno, Czech Republic, and Chennai, India, as well as external partnersInitiate supply chain processes for the creation and fabrication of steel structures and platformsConduct thorough quality checks on deliverables to ensure they align with project and customer requirementsDrive the resolution of quality issues related to steel on-site and in factories, ensuring compliance with relevant standardsDocument and share lessons learned from projects, and propose and implement process improvementsProvide ongoing support to factories to resolve quality cases (Q cases) and assist site teams with non-conformance reports (NCRs)Analyze root causes of quality and project issues and help develop sustainable solutions to prevent them from happening againYour qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field. A technical degree with 10–15 years of work experience in a relevant field will also be considered.
Minimum of three years of experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexitiesProven experience in technical project management within civil engineeringExperience in steel construction is a plus, and knowledge of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) is a significant advantageProficiency with CAD software (2D and 3D-Auto-CAD) is requiredExperience with BIM software like Tekla Structures is an advantageKnowledge of structural analysis programs such as SCIA Engineer or STAAD Pro is a plusFamiliarity with standards such as EC, AISC, Building codes, and EN 1090 is desirableExperience with SAP is advantageous.Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with experience in intercultural cooperationFluent in English. German language skills are a significant advantage.
