Tasks & ResponsibilitiesBackground:Digital Health Technologies (DHTs) are fundamentally changing how we develop new medicines. By leveraging smartphones, wearables, and smart textiles to capture continuous digital biomarkers, we are moving toward a more precise, data-driven understanding of patient health. These technologies allow us to monitor vital signs and symptoms in real-time, aiming to significantly accelerate clinical development and improve the quality of evidence we use to bring new therapies to market. To power these digital health studies, we operate a sophisticated data ecosystem. Our infrastructure integrates mobile applications, advanced sensors, and complex data pipelines
into a unified analytics platform. As we scale, we are managing terabytes of sensor data from thousands of global participants. We need a robust, scalable architecture to manage this data lifecycle – from ingestion to deep analytics. We are looking for an innovative Solution Architect to lead the architectural vision of our Digital Health Platform (DHP). This role requires an expert communicator with a deep understanding of cloud-native ecosystems and the ability to engineer high-volume, large-scale data pipelines.As a Senior Digital Health Solution Architect you will be:

Architecting & designing fit-for-purpose, innovative software solutions to address digital health business problems including the development of working prototypes and PoC
Future-proofing existing scalable, modular DHP components and infrastructure such

as data lakes, data processing pipelines, analytics platforms, databases, API solutions & integrations as well as driving the transition into a next generation technology stack. * Guide the DHP technology strategy aligning with IT standards and business needs.

Work closely with the Product Line Leader and contribute with deep technical know-how and domain expertise to the platform roadmap.
Drive & oversee implementation by leading & guiding global software development teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, especially Mobile Software

Architects, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Clinical Study Managers, Cloud Architects, GxP specialists and Lifecycle Managers to ensure that the DHP provides end-to-end support for Digital Health studies. * Acting as the GxP System Owner for one of the key components of the DHP.Must Haves

5+ years of experience in hands-on solution architecture, including the ability to design and implement proof-of-concept solutions that address complex business challenges.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated expertise in large-scale cloud-based platforms with a focus on Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with AWS is highly desirable.
Advanced knowledge of key tools and technologies, including Git, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Azure DevOps). You have a deep understanding of the tools and processes used by software development teams.
Experience in managing, mentoring, and overseeing software development teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities effectively, and communicate seamlessly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong familiarity with agile software development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) and DevOps-based development lifecycles is preferred.
Familiarity with Computer Systems Validation (CSV) and compliance frameworks for regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceuticals, aviation, financial, energy, or transportation) is a valuable asset.
