- Is to manage the regulatory aspects of cosmetic products (fragrances, body lotion, shower gels, etc….) developed in R&D center in Versoix.
- Guide different stakeholders to develop products in compliance with the regulations of the desired countries and approve all aspects of the products (formulas, labeling, packaging, communication…). In this context, the role requires outstanding knowledge of the regulations around the world. The ole has cross-functional interaction with other R&D functions as well as with marketing and supply chain.
- Review, approve and/or issue technical documents to ensure complete and accurate Product Information Files (PIFs) and registration dossiers. The candidate will interact with various stakeholders in the different parts of the world.
- Review compliance for non-cosmetics (candles, room sprays, etc…)
- Lead your project to ensure it meets the overall timelines, interact with multiple functions on site or other Coty locations, enable resolutions of challenges related to product registration. Follow-up with other internal functions (Product Development, Artwork planners, Initiative leaders, packaging, MD…) as to resolve questions related to the documentation.
- Lead and guide the team members, allowing them to develop themselves.
- Have minimum 5 years of regulatory experience in a similar regulatory compliance role, with minimum 7-10 years of cosmetic industry experience.
- Have team management experience
- Master the cosmetic regulation for EU/UK, North America, Asia and Latin America and requirements for product registration in various countries, including China.
- Good understanding of the CLP regulation and the applicable requirements (incl. labeling)
- Are fluent in English, a second language as French would be an advantage.
- Bachelor or Master in cosmetics or other sciences (Biology, Pharmacy, chemistry….)
- Self-starter, you like to learn about new areas and develop your expertise.
- proficiency with MS-Office and high command of IT in general. Quick learner of new software and systems and good ability to present and train others.
