Student’s location/: Near Spittalgasse, Bern – Student's office.
Current target language level: Complete beginner
Native and other spoken languages: Romanian, English advanced, Italian beginner
Student’s language needs and goals: She would like to be able to handle basic day to day activities in the local language: going to the grocery store, ordering at restaurant, doctor appointments, connects with local authorities for regular paperwork, asking for directions
For the child - 10-years-old
Availability: Tuesday evening (4:00pm - 8:00pm)
Thursday evening (4:00pm - 8:00pm)
Preferred start date: Monday, September 1, 2025
Lesson Frequency: 2x a week
Lesson Duration: 1 hr per session

Student’s language needs and goals: Be able to handle basic communications in the local language: safety, directions, transport, shopping. It may also be a good introduction as she will be learning the language in school as of 2026, as the 3rd language.

Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the German language
To have a degree or certification in teaching, linguistics, or similar field
To have a minimum of two years of teaching German language experience
