ManpowerIndustry: Pharmaceutical ManufacturingWe are looking for a skilled professional to lead capacity and supply planning activities within a dynamic and highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role is essential to ensuring operational efficiency, resource optimization, and alignment with long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop mid- and long-term plans to optimize operations, production, and resource utilization.
- Conduct demand forecasting and capacity planning aligned with strategic goals.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure sustainability.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment between engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Prepare and present reports on capacity utilization, forecast accuracy, and operational performance.
- Support planning continuity during team absences or resource constraints.
- Lead the S&OP process (Production & QC), integrating demand and supply planning to support business growth.
- Collaborate with SNO, Production, QC, Material Planners, and Planning teams to ensure supply chain responsiveness.
- Facilitate S&OP meetings and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership. Continuous Improvement & Tools:
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and upcoming projects to build predictive planning models.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies (e.g., batch sizes, SKU rationalization, production/QC performance).
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems, forecasting tools, and data visualization platforms (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, etc.).
- Recommend strategies for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and operational excellence.
(Key KPIs: PSA, # of OOS & BO, Units per FTE) Required Experience & Skills:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (or equivalent).
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply planning, ideally in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
- Proficient with DRP tools such as Kinaxis and SAP.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with both Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order production models.
- APICS certification or other post-graduate supply chain training is a plus.
- Programming skills (e.g., Excel macros, VBA) are an advantage.
