This role focuses on deploying and operating production-grade platforms using infrastructure-as-code, automation, and security-first practices tailored for regulated financial services environments.Within the Service & Enterprise Solutions organization, the DevOps Engineer works closely with Solution Architects, Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams to build and operate resilient infrastructure. This role ensures blockchain solutions are secure, scalable, observable, and operationally sound for banking and institutional environments.What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)Build and operate cloud infrastructure for blockchain platforms in banking, custody, payments, and digital asset environmentsDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and release managementDeploy and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormationOperate containerized applications using Docker and KubernetesConfigure and manage environments across AWS, Azure, hybrid, and on-premise deploymentsImplement security hardening, secrets management, encryption, and access controlsBuild and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatchSupport production deployments, go-live activities, and incident responseCollaborate with Solution Architects to ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and architectural requirementsContribute to reusable infrastructure patterns, automation frameworks, and operational documentationWhat We Look for In You (Required Qualifications)3–6 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure operations rolesHands-on experience building and operating infrastructure in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environmentsStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure and/or GCP a plus)Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCDStrong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform, Ansible, or PulumiSolid scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languagesExperience operating Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platformsStrong understanding of security, networking, and compliance requirements in regulated environmentsSelf-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies, demonstrating high-quality and high-touch customer engagement throughout all phases of deliveryAbility to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, delivery teams, and client technical stakeholdersLanguages: English required; Swiss German, German, French or Italian a plusLocation: Switzerland, with focus on Zurich and LuganoNice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications)Experience operating blockchain infrastructure (Bitcoin nodes, Lightning Network, or similar)Familiarity with distributed systems and blockchain-specific operational requirementsExperience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELKKnowledge of service mesh, API gateways, or load-balancing technologiesRelevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)Interest in progressing into Senior DevOps Engineer or SRE leadership rolesGenuine interest in Bitcoin, digital assets, and blockchain-based financial infrastructure.
