The objective of Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) is to be able to identify risks resulting from financial crime that puts the integrity and thus the success of DWS into question as well as to prevent them to the greatest extent possible and to manage or resolve them appropriately in the interests of everyone involved.Compliance seeks to protect the DWS Group’s licenses to operate by promoting and enforcing adherence with laws, regulations, rules, expectations of regulators, the standards of self-regulatory organizations, and codes of conduct / ethics in connection with the Group’ s regulated activities, and driving a culture of compliance and ethical conduct. It seeks to provide independent and objective assurance to the Management, on the adequacy of the design and effectiveness of the Compliance Risk control framework for the areas for which it has been allocated responsibility. Compliance also seeks to provide independent, proactive and forward looking challenge and advice to senior managers as well as all employees.Your responsibilities:Anti-Financial Crime and Compliance Analyst based in Zurich who will provide proactive and sound advice on Compliance, AFC and regulatory matters to asset management business partners and will work closely with other functions of DWS to ensure compliance with the highest standards of control and processes.As our AFC & Compliance Analyst, you will:Provide timely, risk-based guidance and support to internal stakeholders on general queries related to Compliance and / or AFC.Promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct.Conduct Compliance and AFC risk assessments, monitoring and quality assurance activities in accordance with the annual local compliance and AFC control plan (e.g., quality assurance over investment guidelines monitoring, Personal Account Dealing monitoring, and half-review review of Marketing Materials and Cross-Border interactions).Support periodic KYC review submitted by the business and perform an independent quality assurance programme.Perform name list screening.Support the client adoption process.Coordinate / advise on regulatory audits and enquiries.Develop and deliver local training to the business.Define and maintain relevant internal policies and procedures.Close collaboration with Compliance officers, AFC officers and other functions (legal, business risk management etc.) across regions.Reporting results of controls and issues arising into local and DWS Group Senior Management.Minimum 1 years of experience, ideally in the asset management sector.Professional experience in Compliance, AFC, Audit or Control Functions.We are looking for:Degree in business administration / banking / economics or similar.Excellent verbal and writing skills. Ability to produce high quality reports / presentations.Excellent analytical skills.Ability to effectively communicate and align towards a common goal multiple stakeholders, including business, senior management and other Compliance teams. Having presence and ability to influence stakeholders.Excellent understanding of asset management business.Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Programs.Proactive attitude, high commitment and ability to work in a careful and targeted way in even the most stressful situations.Ability to work independently and within a team.Fluency in English.
