What you'll doThe Mechanical Engineer is responsible for carrying out architecture definition, design, parts integration, mechanical analysis, and test activities. The knowledge should include design and simulations of sub-systems assembly for different verticals, environmental analysis, motion systems and design for manufacturing. The tasks include working closely with other engineers and Project Managers to assist in project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment activities with clear responsibilities and impact on the project’s results. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team to develop phased array antenna and optical communication system for ground and aerospace applications.
The day-to-dayIn collaboration with your project team members, you own the mechanical development cycle of the antenna development:
- Drive requirements, architecture definition and tradeoffs.
- Design, simulate and test, assembly and parts for complex integrated system.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and test facilities.
- Partner with System, Hardware, Radio frequency engineers and with our internal and external experts.
