Switzerland BasedYour MissionAs a Senior Sales Executive at Open Systems, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisitions (new logos) within the German mid-market segment (500 to 25,000 users). You will leverage your expertise and established network to position Open Systems’ suite of solutions, including SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, and Global Connectivity, against key competitors. Your focus will be on consultative selling, building strategic relationships, and exceeding sales targets in a high-growth environment.Your First 3 Months at Open Systems
- Get to know the Sales team and internal stakeholders, including Marketing and Technical teams.
- Familiarize yourself with Open Systems’ solutions through internal training and hands-on learning.
- Engage in prospecting activities, leveraging your existing network and market knowledge.
- Participate in early-stage customer meetings and sales pitches to understand customer needs.
- Visit Zurich during your onboarding and beyond to strengthen relationships with your team.
- New Logo Acquisition: Focus exclusively on acquiring new customers specifically targeting businesses in need of SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, and Global Connectivity solutions.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Leverage cold calling, networking, industry events, and outbound outreach to build a strong pipeline in collaboration with the marketing and technical teams.
- Consultative Selling: Engage with senior-level decision-makers (CIOs, CISOs, and IT leaders) to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions using Open Systems’ portfolio.
- Competitive Differentiation: Position Open Systems effectively against competitors like Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, Palo Alto, Cato Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Aryaka Networks, and Silver Peak by showcasing the unique advantages of our solutions.
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Lead the entire sales process, from initial prospecting and discovery to product demonstrations, proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish trust and long-term partnerships with key decision-makers to ensure Open Systems is their preferred networking and security provider.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, customer pain points, and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Exceed Sales Targets: Consistently meet or surpass sales quotas, including new logo acquisition and revenue goals.
- Proven Hunter Mentality: Strong experience in acquiring new business and developing fresh client relationships, with a track record of success in selling SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, and Global Connectivity solutions to mid-market enterprises.
- Consultative Sales Skills: Ability to engage with C-level executives, understand their business needs, and craft tailored solutions that deliver real value.
- Product Expertise: In-depth understanding of how SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, and Global Connectivity address networking and security challenges for mid-market businesses.
- Competitive Edge: Deep knowledge of the market landscape and ability to navigate complex sales cycles with a multithreaded approach.
- Proven Sales Success: At least 5 years of senior experience in B2B sales within the IT networking and cybersecurity space, with a strong focus on the mid-market segment.
- Strong Book of Business: An established network in the German market, with existing relationships and a track record of leveraging contacts to drive sales.
- Results-Driven: Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region and occasionally beyond.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Experience working with channel partners to create and drive sales opportunities.
- Strong networking skills with a reliable and professional approach.
