- Take a leading role in all aspects of particle physics experiments, including the conception and design of experiments, the building and operation of detectors and the analysis of data.
- Coordinate or make important contributions to studies, projects or committee work.
- Represent the Organization at conferences, workshops, or in other research laboratories and institutions.
- Supervise research and development work, and planning and managing activities including material and personnel resources.
- You have an established record of post-doctoral experience and have completed high-impact work in experimental particle physics research.
- Experience in data analysis and in the use of on-line / off-line software.
- Demonstrated competence in detector hardware and experimental instrumentation.
- Capacity for innovation and potential for making a significant contribution to the scientific programme of the Organization.
- PhD in the field of particle physics or a related field.
- Analysis and interpretation of experimental data.
- Knowledge and application of physics reconstruction techniques.
- Simulation, design and development of physics experiments.
- Operation of experiments.

- A list of up to ten most-important publications indicating where you have been a principal contributor or co-author, indicating your contribution to each publication in a couple of lines.
- A one-page cover letter, giving your motivation in applying for this position.
