Our client is a global leader in the energy & commodities sector, operating in over 40 countries and managing its own proprietary Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM) system-the backbone of its trading, risk, and invoicing processes.Your Role
As part of the CTRM team in Geneva, you will:Design and implement new PL/SQL features to support evolving business requirementsPartner with traders, middle-office, and finance users to gather and prioritize requirementsMaintain and optimize both existing modules and those you developProvide day-to-day application support and user trainingContribute to diverse projects such as cash-flow modelling, complex options valuation engines, and post-acquisition system integrationsWhat We're Looking ForUniversity degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalentStrong data modelling skills and SQL proficiencyMinimum 3 years' experience as a database engineer or user-facing DB developerEntrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently and collaborativelyProactive, user-oriented “make it work” attitude; comfortable with daily release cyclesExcellent English communication skills (spoken and written)Nice-to-HavesHands-on PL/SQL or T-SQL experience; Oracle Forms Builder a plusBackground in commodities trading or financial servicesFamiliarity with C#, C++ or PythonFrench language skills
