- The main responsibility of the Nautical Recruiting Manager is to ensure a stable pipeline of accepted candidates over all vacant nautical positions on all River vessels. This includes organizing, conducting, and evaluating interviews and assessments, job fairs, and career events; establishing and maintaining a healthy relationship with our partner agencies and representing Viking Cruises as an Employer of Choice within the cruise industry
- The Nautical Recruiting Manager will report to the Senior Recruiting Manager
- Travel within this position is between 30 and 50 per cent within Europe
- You will verify recruiting profiles and selection criteria with Nautical and Technical department
- You have to conduct personal, and MS Teams interviews for onboard crew and Senior Officers
- You will be in charge of the organization and execution of on-site assessments
- You will participate in recruiting events throughout Europe
- Data gathering, input and control over candidate resource pool are among your responsibilities
- You will research competitor conditions, visa requirements and industry trends (benchmarking)
- You will run support in providing insights for marketing campaigns together with the Recruitment Marketing team
- You will follow defined recruiting processes and policies in an effective and efficient manner to ensure given budgets and optimize if necessary
- You will ensure reporting of recruiting status quo and measures at all times in line with company standards
- Maintaining business relationships with a trusted network of recruiting agencies, vocational schools and universities
- Previous experience in the nautical, transportation or tourism sector is desired, experience within the inland shipping industry would be an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Fluent in English is a must, plus at least one other language from: Dutch, German or French
- Software and administrative skills for use in MS Office and SuccessFactors
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
