It consists of units in Konolfingen (CH), Marysville (USA), Orbe (CH) and Singapore and provides new products and processes to all Nestlé markets worldwide.Our mission - to delight the consumer wherever, whenever, however by delivering moments of genuine pleasure and indulgence - drives the need for us to attract, select and develop the right people for the right jobs throughout the value chain of our business.As a Quality Manager for Nescafé Dolce Gusto (NDG) category, your main mission will be to provide solid Quality support to the Idea to Launch (I2L) process and Innovation & Renovation (I&R) projects of NDG products (excluding machines). In this position, you will collaborate with Zones/markets and Nestlé Technology Center (NSTC) to offer specialized QA support for NDG product operations and take ownership of QA-related category mastership, including standards, guidelines, competencies, and network.A Day in the Life of a Quality Manager for Nescafé Dolce Gusto (NDG) category
- Ensure food safety, quality and compliance of NDG products by design through providing QA support to I&R (innovation & renovation) project.
- Develop/update category-related standards, instructions, guidelines related to food safety, quality and compliance together with relevant stakeholders
- Track consumer feedback of NDG products, identify opportunity for improvement from category point of view. Support consumer engagement and service team for sensitive case of consumer feedback
- Drive NDG Quality related competence development and QA network
- Deliver appropriate support to operations, and validate NDG quality related derogations from factories
- Lead early warning and issue management of NDG products through IRT (issue round table) by identifying potential issue/topics that may impact quality, food safety or compliance and take proactively measures to mitigate risks in collaboration with NDG RSA, Strategic business unit colleagues, etc.
- University graduate or equivalent, preferably in a food science-related field
- Successful experience in implementing QA programs in factory and/or R&D environment
- Ability to provide solutions in a customer-centric approach
- Analytical thinking
- Fluent in written and oral English
