Your task
  • Understand technological situation: able to identify our technology gaps for the mid- long-term product roadmap and propose solutions to support next product development in collaboration with product managers.
  • Investigate technological ecosystem:
evaluate state of the art and the readiness of a specific technology, clarify the competitor situation, analyze patent portfolio, identify actors like start-ups, institutes and universities. * Digital signal processing:identify, develop and test algorithms. Knowledge of standard rule-based and AI based signal processing. * Functional module / prototype development: hands-on mind-set for elaboration of proof of concepts and integration in larger system.
  • Transfer and participation to development phase:
support our development team for the transfer of the technology into the development phase, contribute to the optimization of the design for industrial environment (robustness, serialization, ease of use, modularity, etc). * Stakeholder collaboration: work closely with different departments (product managers, sales, service technicians) and global technology centers to understand requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Your backpack
  • Education: Master or PhD degree in physics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in product development with proven record of bringing a product from development to industrialization phase.
  • Experience with machine vision is an important advantage
  • Skills:
Strong analytical skills. Self-driven. Balance between theory and hands-on mind set required. Dare to try and fail. * Communication: good verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts.Preferred attribute
