Join our global R&D team as a Principal Engineer in Power Electronics, where you'll lead the development of next-generation frequency converters for elevators-driving innovation, efficiency, and compliance in a global R&D environment.Your impact
- Define system concepts and feasibility for cutting-edge elevator drives
- Develop specs, design rules, and ensure accurate power selection
- Lead control strategies for motors and power line interfaces to optimize ride quality
- Secure compliance with global standards and manage design risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional experts to push technical boundaries
- Degree in Electronic Engineering with focus on Power Electronics /Machine Control theory
- Extensive experience in power electronics development, ideally in a highly regulated industry
- Expertise in three-phase machine control, thermal design & lifetime calculation
- Strong understanding of thermal design and lifetime calculation for frequency converters
- Familiarity with frequency converter-related standards and codes
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink for system simulation
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
