Salesforce Developer / Kafka Implementation – SwitzerlandWe are looking for an experienced Salesforce / Java Developer with hands-on Kafka implementation experience to support a major integration project for a leading global insurance company.
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering scalable solutions across Salesforce, Java, and Kafka in a complex enterprise environment.Key points at a glance:
  • Hybrid role based in Bern (1 day on-site expected)
  • Fluent German and English required
  • Salesforce development, Kafka implementation, Java, LWC, API integration
  • Initial 7-month contract (starting July 2025)
  • Full-time, 100% capacity
Day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Develop and customise Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and LWC
  • Design and implement Kafka-based integration between Salesforce and other platforms
  • Build robust, scalable Java services to support event-driven architecture
  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and optimise existing applications
  • Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Ideal background / experience:
  • Experience in Salesforce development and system integration
  • Proven track record in Kafka implementation (not just usage)
  • Strong Java backend development skills
  • Knowledge of data migration and middleware tools
  • Salesforce certifications are a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in cross-functional team environments
