The Partner-owned financial service group offers a comprehensive service for wealthy individuals and families including discretionary and advisory investment solutions and family office services.Within the Investment Risk & Performance team at Pictet Wealth Management, you will oversee the key aspects of financial risk management for all Advisory portfolios. In this role, you will have the opportunity to identify, analyze, monitor and control risks associated with investments in clients' portfolios in an independent manner, represent the PWM Investment risk and Performance (IRP) function in relevant governing bodies and lead and manage the PWM IRP team.Your role
Monitor market trends, investment activities, processes and performances to anticipate and identify risks in clients' portfolios across the investment offering (DPM, ADV and ExO) and asset classes (traditional and non-traditional)
Challenge investment processes of the various products and solutions managed on the PWM investment platform (from multi-asset mandates to single asset ones).
Analyze investment performance and risks identified to ensure that they are consistent with investment objectives and within the risk tolerance and regulatory requirements (e.g. suitability)
Propose, develop and implement risk management measures to monitor and/or control, at portfolio level or on a consolidated basis
Communicate observations arising from investment risk activities to portfolio managers, investment specialists and bankers to ensure that risks are managed
Report risk insights and analytics to key stakeholders and relevant governing bodies, and advise them on risk management measures to be taken
Continuously assess the investment risk management framework and manage it to cover risks dynamically depending on their evolution
Lead and manage the PWM IRP team to its impacts while keeping the focus on priorities
Represent PWM Risk & Compliance on investment risk either in committees or on ad hoc basis

Solid experience in macroeconomics, financial markets, instruments and asset classes

Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate
