Work for a great family of 3 soon to be 4, in an incredible location and competitive salary!Job Summary:My client is a lovely family of 3 soon to be 4 looking for an experienced nanny to join their household in October/November. The family consists of two parents and their 5.5 year old son, they are expecting a newborn next week so the role will commence when the youngest is 2 to 3 months old.They are based very centrally in the old town of Berne, Switzerland, so will be looking for a candidate who is currently located close by as they do not have any accommodation, or someone who is happy to relocate closer to their household. For the languages, they will be looking for fluent German or English.They are looking for a Nanny who has had experience working in nursery, schools, private households and someone who is very educated on child development and has an interest in the education with children. Their son is very active, so someone to also be quick on their feet!Both mum and dad work intense roles, therefore they would need to have a lot of trust for this person as the role will be sole charge the majority of the time. There is occasional travel around Europe with mum, and in advance, mum and dad would like to go away 3-4 weekends a year, so extra nannying and proxy parenting will be required during this time, but they will warn you ahead of time and ensure it is fair.The salary above is based on 40 hours per week and experience, hours can be increased or decreased depending on the youngest child's needs. This role includes a month trial basis. The role includes a 13-monthy salary and 4 weeks holiday per year.Job specification:
All sole and shared charge nanny duties
Getting the children up, dressed and ready for the day
Cooking healthy nutrition and fresh meals for the children
Taking the oldest child to exciting and age-appropriate activities around Switzerland
All child-related housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, nursery duties
Experienced with babies as well as older children, able to help with their development
A helpful attitude towards housekeeping, happy and able to help when needed
Adapting to the role as the children grow up, being passionate about nannying and looking for longevity is key
Candidate specification:
5+ previous years experience in a private household
Excellent prior references, First Aid, background checks
Highly experienced nanny
Fluent in English or German
