If you're passionate about contributing to a secure, client-focused banking experience, we invite you to join our mission.The RoleAs a tech lead, you are comfortable wearing two hats: tech and management.With the technical, you will· Lead a team of software engineers to develop and own state-of-the-art solutions· Constantly enhance the quality and security of applications, actively managing the quality of the systems· Actively participate in developing new features and improvements by writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage· Collaborate with platform engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes· Collaborate with SRE and solution architects to optimize application availability, resilience, and observability· Respond to production incidents promptly and efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuityWith the managerial, you will· Nurture and guide software engineers through coaching and mentoring· Enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness by driving continuous improvement initiatives· Partner with product managers and stakeholders to plan new features and improvements· Facilitate blameless retrospectives and post-mortems to foster a culture of learning from mistakes· Cultivate a psychologically safe environment where every team member feels empowered to contribute meaningfully to the organization's growthThis is a great opportunity for you if· You like to create scalable backend services based on our tech-stack: Java running on AWS.· You enjoy doing both: technical and people leadership work· You have a collaborative and growth mindset· You care about quality and security and bake those aspects in the software development lifecycle· You are comfortable taking ownership of the whole development lifecycle, from designing solutions to running the application in production· You are proactive and get motivated with new opportunities and challengesFew things that will help on the job· Expertise in Java (17+)· Expertise in Quarkus or Spring Boot· Expertise in working with RDBMS (ideally PostgreSQL).· Experience with frontend technologies (ideally ReactJS and TypeScript)· Working experience with Kafka.· Designing flexible and robust RESTful APIs with an API first approach.· Understanding microservices, event driven architecture and being able to implement complex functionality with high quality and security.· Working knowledge of Docker and containerization· Experience of working with Kubernetes is beneficial.· Experience of working with AWS is beneficial.· Experience in handling client data within the financial industry is preferred but not required.· Prior experience in leading an engineering team with focus on quality and delivery.· Prior experience in dealing with various stakeholders (Business users, IT Architecture, Product Owners, Business Analysts).Our Engineering CultureDo you identify with these values and principles?· Team first mindset.
