Let’s shape the future of wealth management together.We are seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Compliance Officer - to join our Client Reviews Team within the Financial Crime Compliance Department for a temporary position.YOUR CHALLENGEConduct holistic periodic and event-based client reviews, including the plausibility of KYC information and transaction analysisTake appropriate compliance actions and remediation measures to mitigate riskReview supporting documentation, assess adverse media hits and evaluate potential reputational riskEscalate concerns identified during the review process and support monitoring of mitigation measures to reduce the bank’s risk exposureReview and investigate name and adverse media screening alerts to identify potential true matches and false positives, in line with internal proceduresCollaborate with partners across all three Lines of Defence (Relationship Managers, Compliance and Internal Audit) as well as other functions and domestic and foreign group affiliatesContribute to the improvement of processes, procedures, and tools to enhance efficiency and risk managementYOUR PROFILEUniversity degree (Law or Business Administration) or related field (or equivalent practical experience)Several years of expert experience in Legal and Compliance or Audit at a globally operating BankAbility to effectively apply working knowledge of global AML and CFT (Combating the Financing of Terrorism) regulations and standards, current money laundering schemes to effectively identify and mitigate risksAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions: ability to interpret an extensive variety of data and deal with complex situationsAbility to communicate unpopular opinions/decisions and to stay firm under pressureStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-up abilities.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentGood knowledge of MS Office and IT-flairBusiness fluency in English (German or other languages are an advantage)Candidates with immediate or short-term availability will be strongly preferred.We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
