Location: Bucharest, RomaniaWorking arrangement: HybridThe OpportunityThe primary purpose of the position is to act as a Business Partner to the Retread Team as well as European Business & Finance Teams, with regards to supporting sustainable profitable sales growth as well as ensuring a strong and practical internal controls framework and environment. This role is a key part of the financial support of the Retread business and will have contact with a wide variety of people and departments at local country level and European level with a clear focus on its Retread business. It will operate at the center of the Goodyear intersection in terms of collaboration.Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesAs a Retread Finance Specialist, you will contribute to the achievement of the PBU Commercial objectives and value creation in terms of profitability, risk control, project execution and cash generation, with a focus on EMEA Retread & Solutions portfolio.
  • Support in the defining of a regional framework for the sustainable growth of the EMEA Retread business proposition
  • Developing a strong internal controls framework and mindset within the entire Retread organization
  • Providing sound financial acumen to support the growth of the fleet organization by reviewing and positively challenging tender, business case and sales forecasts with the fleet sales team
  • Managing the EMEA Profit & Loss Statement for the Retread EMEA business and supporting Controlling in the effective and accurate management of all Retread related Balance Sheet assets and inventories
  • Managing the EMEA Retread financial forecast, AOP and Rv4C processes
  • Working at the intersection with local Cluster teams to ensure the Retread strategy, internal controls and processes are adhered to and implemented
  • Working at the intersection with the fleet business and IT teams to ensure the evolution of an automated and integrated fleet business with all ERP and reporting systems"
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries
  • Some other tasks could be added, linked to business requirements or organization changes. This position is based in Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg.
To Join Our Team, You Will Need
  • Graduate level in business/finance or equivalent
  • Around 5 years of professional experience in financial management with growing responsibilities
  • Fluency in English
  • Advanced knowledge of the fleet related ERP systems and technical accounting & reporting frameworks
  • Strong internal controls understanding & background within all aspects of business
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, working with all levels within a cross functional organization
  • Reliable and accurate, with a strong sense of auto-control / consistency check.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks, to manage changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Problem solving oriented attitude
