The firm is committed to environmental responsibility, digital innovation, and advancing a strong corporate culture.You will join a dynamic work environment where team spirit and personal growth are highly valued.Activities & ResponsibilitiesThis position requires expertise in both hydromechanical and electromechanical systems, with a specific focus on large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.The ideal candidate will have expertise in turbines and mechanical auxiliaries of hydropower plants and experience in construction and rehabilitation projects of hydropower plantsMain tasks associated with this position include:
  • Engineering and Design Analysis: Review and validate design studies, manufacturer specifications, technical drawings, and operational documents.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in factory inspections and on-site testing to ensure equipment and systems meet project specifications before shipment and installation.
  • Project Coordination: Act as a key technical liaison, coordinating with internal teams, external contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical tender documents, including specifications and contracts, and draft technical proposals for consulting and engineering services.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Assess technical and commercial proposals from manufacturers, considering quality, cost, and project timelines.
  • Field Inspections: Conduct periodic on-site inspections during various project phases and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Project Management Support: Monitor project progress, manage technical non-conformities, and suggest optimizations to project schedules.
Requirements Profile
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Hydromechanics, Electromechanics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of professional experience with either hydromechanical or electromechanical equipment especially with hydromechanical equipment for power plants.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and either French or German, both written and spoken.
  • Professional Skills: A proven record of autonomy, meticulousness, and a proactive approach to task management.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both specialists and non-specialists.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Travel: Availability for international travel for assignments of approximately 1 to 2 weeks.
