Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva blends a revitalized sense of history with warm and genuine personal service in the very heart of the city.Summary :He/She is responsible of the Front Desk operations during the night shift in collaboration with all the people working at night in a genuine and caring team spirit. He/She must be in adequation with the luxury 5 stars hotels codes, being able to respond to the guests needs and/or complaints using empathic behaviour and ensuring the highest level of guest’s satisfaction, along with the completion of the daily night checklist.Primary functions :Coordinate requests from all operational departments present during the night • Establish and validate the closing and the daily financial statements of all outlets • Manage the end of day closure and the daily backups • Secure the hotel according to the procedures in collaboration with the security department • Know and respect the accounting and revenue procedures • Ensure the daily check of safes • Process the guest's invoices supported before transmission to the Finance • Master the systems / software needed to carry out this position (PMS Opéra, Hotsos, Golden, Key, La Fourchette, etc.) • Be able to take care of the wake-up calls and demonstrate anticipation • Phone coverage of all department closed during the night • Proceed to a check-in late in the evening / during the night applying all the Four Seasons/LQA standards requested and ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information collected • Accompany the guest to the room applying all the Four Seasons/LQA standards requested • Ensure to refill the desk with all supplies needed and to work in a clean environment • Ensure the satisfaction of the hotel's guest, and to meet them before their check out • Ensure how to handle an early check-out applying all the Four Seasons/LQA standards requested • Check guest’s invoices and make sure that: guarantee is good enough until the end of the stay, adjustments needed are properly done, comments are well updated and prepayments well received • Provide a proper passon to the AM shift • Act in accordance with the legal rules, including work, and respect the standards and procedures in force in the establishment • Inform the hierarchy of any "abnormal" situation concerning the safety or accident risks of customers or colleagues • Ensure a perfect communication within the night team, to satisfy any guest requests • Interact positively with all members of the team to ensure the expected service of a luxury 5 stars hotel • Help other departments present at night when needed • Ensure to always represent the Four Seasons grooming guidelinesSecondary functions:Elaborate new projects to enhance the work environment and the guest’s experience and satisfaction • Be able to check a room with all housekeeping standards. • Ensure to know how to make a hotel reservation • Check the cleanliness of the hotel in the absence of the Public Area Manager • Assign last minute reservations and ensure all info required are updated in the PMS 2 • Check that the early bird breakfast offered to the customer in the lobby is set up on time • Maintain the standard of the food prepared for staff meals at nightProfile we are looking for :Experience : Minimum 1 year experience as a hotel receptionnist • Language : French (read, written, spoken), English (read, written, spoken) a third language or more will be an asset • Software : Opera, Golden, Hotsos, Outlook, Office Pack especially Excel Swiss Nationality, Swiss residency authorization or EU citizen will be considered only.
