Tasks & ResponsibilitiesP&O team seek a managed service providing a T&A Lead for Switzerland to stabilize Time & Attendance operations following the introduction of Workforce Software. The service includes leadership of Swiss T&A SMEs, incident and defect management, compliance oversight, and coordination across Payroll, H2R, IT, and Workday Product teams.
  • Service Cadence: Monthly (recurring for contract duration) Monthly Service Deliverables:
1. Swiss T&A Operations Stability
  • Consolidated view of operational performance across Swiss Time & Attendance processes
  • Overview of case volumes, incident trends, escalations, and service-level adherence
  • Variance analysis against defined service baselines (accuracy, timeliness, compliance KPIs)
  • Key decisions and escalations requiring leadership attention
2. Swiss T&A Process & System Governance Summary
  • Status of end-to-end T&A processes and compliance checkpoints (Arbeitsgesetz, breaks, overtime, mandatory recording, schedules)
  • Evidence of process adherence by Swiss T&A SMEs
  • Updates to Workforce Software (WFS), Workday HCM, and Payroll integrations
  • Forward-looking view of enhancements, releases, and process risks
3. Issue, Incident & Defect Resolution Log:
  • Documented incidents, defects, and resolution activities
  • Root-cause analysis and closure status for high-priority issues
  • Integration defect impacts (WFS ↔ Workday ↔ Payroll provider)
  • Continuous improvement items and approved changes with impact assessments
4. Operational Compliance & Control Overview
  • Evidence demonstrating compliance with all Swiss T&A legal obligations
  • Outputs from controls, compliance checks, and audits
  • Documented deviations, risks, and agreed corrective actions
  • Updated SOPs, process documentation, and training materials
  • Confirmation of execution through governance routines (Payroll, H2R, P&O Ops, IT).
5. Stakeholder Communication & Stabilization
  • Summary of collaboration with Payroll, H2R, IT, Workday Product, and P&O Ops
  • Progress of stabilization across systems and integrations
  • Impacts of upcoming releases or configuration changes
  • Cross-functional dependencies and required follow-ups
Acceptance Criteria:
  • All deliverables provided once per monthly cycle
  • Content adheres to agreed structures and templates
  • Operational status, variances, incidents, and compliance information clearly documented
  • Data traceability is ensured across WFS, Workday, and Payroll systems
  • Deliverables are complete, review-ready, and not dependent on any single individual
  • Review & Sign off: HCM Program Leadership
Must HavesFunctional Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss Time & Attendance regulations (Arbeitsgesetz)
  • Experience managing end-to-end T&A operations in multinational settings
  • Understanding of Time → HCM → Payroll data flows
Technical & System Requirements:
  • Workforce Software (WFS) operational knowledge
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM integrations for Time & Attendance
  • Experience working with Payroll provider systems for time data validation
  • Ability to analyse configuration logic, data dependencies, and system behaviours
Experience Requirements:
  • Experience leading small operational teams (3-10 FTEs)
  • Background in incident, defect, and escalation management
  • Experience supporting system go-lives and stabilization phases
  • Prior work in P&O Operations, T&A, or Payroll
Soft Skills:
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management
  • High resilience, calm under pressure, and clear communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex issues and drive decisions
  • Service-oriented mindset with accountability
Language, Location & Time Zone Requirements:
  • English - Required
  • German - Strongly preferred
  • Time Zone: Alignment with CET
  • Collaboration with Swiss SMEs and global stakeholder groups required
