Then you've come to the right place. As an Air Defence Systems Technician, you will provide ongoing support to our customers on site in the country of operation.Your responsibilities will include:
Technical support at customer sites (long-term assignments)
Performing maintenance and repair work on air defence systems
Fault analysis and repair directly on site in cooperation with the customer
Training and supporting operating personnel in technical matters
Working closely with the site in Switzerland – in particular when reporting customer requirements, system observations and optimisation suggestions
Documenting technical work and entering it into the central support system
Using modern technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality for remote support and diagnostics
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Completed technical vocational training as a mechanic or electronics technician (m/f/d) or comparable
Several years of professional experience in a technical environment is an advantage
Ideally, military experience in air defence (e.g. as a gunner or radar specialist), Uof/Of experience
Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of working independently in an international environment
Very good written and spoken English; Romanian or Italian would be an advantage
Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and high level of commitment for long-term stays abroad
Driving licence category B
