  • Co-develop and execute a comprehensive global compensation strategy aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with country and division HR teams to ensure consistency while considering local market dynamics
  • Manage all aspects of the annual salary, bonus and LTI planning process, including setup in SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay, and offline templates
  • Ensure seamless integration with the Global HRMS system and HR KPI Dashboards across 47 countries
  • Conduct regular benchmarking market studies to evaluate compensation competitiveness and internal equity
  • Analyse data to recommend adjustments and enhancements
  • Coordinate with Country HR teams for merit/salary planning, trend analysis, and reporting
  • Manage Mercer IPE Grading and maintain job grades/family structures
  • Assist the Global Head of C&B in preparing Compensation Committee materials
  • Provide executive compensation analysis, financial insights, and reporting
  • Partner with senior leadership, finance, and legal teams and provide expert advice on compensation matters
  • Regularly communicate compensation updates to HR, managers, and employees
What you bring to Sulzer:
  • A minimum of 7 yrs. work experience with Compensation in global corporate and/or consulting environment
  • Professional expertise in Job evaluation (Mercer IPE), benchmarking practices (Mercer/WillisTowersWatson), Salary range design, Compensation planning (salary review, bonus and LTI planning), global HRIS compensation & variable pay modules (e.g. SuccessFactors)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Human Resources with certifications in global grading and compensation of recognized 3rd party providers (E.g. Mercer). Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
  • Business fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making, excellent communication and negotiation abilities and strategic thinking and problem-solving acumen
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or other global HRIS compensation planning. Mastering MS Excel
