Our unique Universal Learning Programme, co-designed with UNESCO's International Bureau of Education, seeks to anchor learning in deep conceptual understanding and the assessment of Ecolint's global competences, to ensure that the outcome of learning makes some positive social impact.Please note that only applications via our website will be consideredTo complete our team, we are looking for a:Nurse - temporary positionPart-time - 30 hoursResponsibilities· Provide medical care and administer First Aid for students and staff within the school context· Keep up to date with policies and procedures related to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection - reporting all concerns to the appropriate person/team· Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure preventive and responsive support for student health and wellbeing· Respond to medical emergencies· Oversee the organisation of the campus infirmaries, including the management of First Aid resources and preparation of packs for school trips· Be responsible for the management of data related to infirmary visits· Be responsible for maintaining records and coordinating First Aid training for staff· Communicate with parents around matters related to children's health and safety· Update, and communicate when required, records of students' medical needs· Oversee the administration of medication for students as required· Carry out role related tasks as required by the school and campus leadershipCandidate requirements· MANDATORY: Qualified registered nurse (licensed in Switzerland and Canton de Genève)· Previous experience working in a school environment· Previous experience of working with young people in a 3-19 year old age group· Ability to work in a calm and professional manner· Confidence, warmth, sensitivity and enthusiasm· Ability to interact positively with pupils, parents, colleagues and visitors to the school· Fluency in French and English· Good written and oral communication· Ability to maintain records, using databases and software· Capable of working effectively as a member of a teamCandidates are requested to apply online attaching their CV, their qualified registered nurse diploma (licensed in Switzerland and Canton de Genève), three references (one of which must be from their current or most recent employer, who can be contacted should the candidate be selected for an interview), and a covering letter.
