Work set up: HybridOur client in the global professional services industry is looking for a high-agency, detail-oriented Events Marketer to lead its European conference strategy and clinical community development efforts. This role is pivotal in establishing credibility in the oncology AI space by organizing impactful events and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals. You’ll manage everything from large-scale conferences like HIMSS to intimate clinical advisory boards, ensuring each initiative drives meaningful engagement and commercial value.What you will do:
  • Lead event strategy across Europe, including conferences, webinars, and clinical education sessions.
  • Manage logistics: booth setup, vendor negotiations, team participation, and speaking opportunities.
  • Track ROI and lead generation from events, refining strategy based on performance.
  • Organize and facilitate clinical advisory boards, roundtables, and peer networking sessions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, radiologists, and clinical researchers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, sales, and R&D teams.
  • Travel regularly across Europe to represent the organization and deepen clinical engagement.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of B2B event marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, medtech, or life sciences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven experience managing multi-country event logistics and vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with lead tracking systems and event ROI analysis.
  • Experience in clinical community building or educational programming.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
  • Experience with European healthcare and tech conferences (e.g., HIMSS Europe, ESMO).
  • Background in coordinating speaking engagements and thought leadership initiatives.
  • German or Dutch language skills.
  • Understanding of both clinical and technical audience engagement.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Builds repeatable processes and manages complex logistics.
  • Anticipates challenges and follows through independently.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
