Seniority Level: Professional (3-4 years of experience)We are currently supporting a client in hiring an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on preventive and reactive quality management across the supplier base, with involvement in APQP, PPAP, and supplier readiness.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and support supplier APQP processes for new product developments and engineering changesDocument and follow up on D-FMEA and P-FMEA activitiesEvaluate and validate supplier testing equipment (e.g., MSA)Plan and execute supplier site process and production releases for components and sub-assembliesPerform PPAP submissions for zero-series and engineering changesReview Safe Launch Concepts and ensure suppliers meet serial production standardsGuide suppliers in achieving and sustaining serial production readinessRequired Experience & Skills:3-4 years of experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering roleIn-depth knowledge of APQP and PPAP processesControl PlansStatistical Process Control (SPC)DFMEA / PFMEAProficiency in quality tools such as 8D reports and 5-Why analysisUnderstanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standardsKnowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) is a strong assetProactive, hands-on approach with a solution-oriented mindsetStrong communication skills and the ability to drive results with suppliersEducation:Degree in Engineering or a related technical disciplineLanguages:English: Fluent / Business-levelGerman: Conversational / Very good working proficiency
