
Postdoctoral Position in Technology Transfer - TWPAs for Quantum Computing

- Design, fabricate, and experimentally characterize superconducting TWPAs
- Optimize device performance (gain, bandwidth, noise) for integration in quantum computing platforms
- Work in the cleanroom to fabricate devices
- Simulate the performance in key software (AWR, etc.)
- Document results in internal reports, patent applications, and scientific publications
- Provide technical support and guidance for transitioning the technology to commercial viability
- Packaging of the devices using PCB, etc
- PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field
- Strong background in superconducting devices, microwave engineering, or quantum information
- Hands-on experience with low-temperature measurements (dilution refrigerators), RF design, and/or nanofabrication techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments
- Interest or experience in technology commercialization or industrial partnerships is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Very good level of spoken and written English
