Apply today to J&J!We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer – Optical Inspection who will work closely with multiple functions on site and globally, including Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, MSAT, Planning, and Business Excellence. This role focuses on establishing and standardizing processes to improve performance and quality. The Senior Process Engineer applies a strong end‑to‑end mindset to ensure safety, right‑first‑time production, and continuous improvement in reliability, speed, and cost optimization.Key Responsibilities:Lead the identification and realization of continuous improvement and value stream optimization opportunities through lean and six sigma methodologiesCoach process engineers of the Optical Inspection operation support team working on process optimization and compliance projectsLead projects related to lean material flow and operational efficiencyCollaborate closely with the Digital & Technology team to deliver effective ways of collecting, visualizing and analyzing relevant data for process improvements and problem solvingQualificationsEducation:Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree required; focused degree in Nature Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, or Industrial Automation (Technical, Data Analytics, or Statistical degrees) or equivalent is preferredExperience and Skills:Required:Minimum 5 years of relevant work experienceExperience in Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, MSAT, Planning, or Business ExcellenceAffinity with data and digital solutions with an ability to identify and explain key insights from dataDrive to continuously improve and challenge the status quoExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority, across functional teams and different levels of organization leadershipRequires fluency in English plus preference is also German speaking capability (written and oral)Collaboration with others and work well in project teamsSelf-driven, well-organized and able to set own targetsRequired Skills:Preferred Skills: Agile Manufacturing, Business Valuations, Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC), Consulting, Controls Compliance, Developing Others, Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Inclusive Leadership, ISO 9001, Leadership, Plant Operations, Process Control, Process Improvements, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Quality Standards, Quality Systems Documentation, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Team Management, Time Management
