Known for their commitment to sustainability and technical excellence, they are currently seeking an experienced leader to join their Water & Environment division in Zurich.The OpportunityIn this role, the successful candidate will oversee the lifecycle of major municipal and industrial wastewater treatment initiatives. This is an opportunity to lead high-visibility infrastructure projects that directly improve regional water quality and resource efficiency, working within a highly collaborative, international network of experts.Key Responsibilities
  • Project Governance: Assume full delivery responsibility for complex projects in wastewater treatment and urban drainage systems.
  • Technical Design: Oversee the design and implementation of sophisticated process engineering plants and industrial-grade structures.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring seamless coordination across different engineering disciplines.
  • Strategic Consulting: Act as a primary advisor to clients from the initial strategic planning phase through to commissioning and operational handover.
  • Digital Transformation: Drive the application and continuous improvement of BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodologies across all project stages.
Your ProfileThe firm is looking for a seasoned professional who combines technical depth with a commercial mindset.
  • Education: A university degree (ETH/FH or equivalent) in Environmental, Civil, or Cultural Engineering.
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Engineer, specifically within the municipal or industrial wastewater sectors. Experience in site management and construction supervision is highly preferred.
  • BIM Proficiency: Practical experience in collaborative, digital project environments.
  • Communication: Strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with confidence.
  • Languages: Native or professional fluency in German is required. Proficiency in English and/or French is a significant advantage.
