The Billing and accounts receivable specialist will undertake the following activities:Ensure all revenue invoices comply with internal controls and policies before approvalIssue invoices promptly and monitor accounts receivable to ensure efficiencyPrepare and analyze monthly reports on overdue receivables and manage collection effortsCollaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing issues quicklyKeep accurate, updated financial records to support audits and reportingDeliver regular reports on receivables status, collection activities, and financial risksEnsure all processes comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulationsIdentify and implement enhancements to invoicing and receivables procedures for better efficiency and controlAssist in documenting improved processes and training internal staffSupport month-end/year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and other tasks as assigned9-month opportunity to fill in GenevaDynamic organization looking for a temporary new team memberThe Billing and accounts receivable specialist should bring the following background and experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance with proven expertise in accounting, and receivables management
  • Strong track record in invoicing, revenue recognition, and collection management
  • Experience in international firms
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and international environment
Our client is an international organization located in Geneva.This contract is a full-time opportunity for 9 months.Our client offers the option of working remotely two days per week.
