The candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth operation of administrative tasks and supporting the overall functioning of boarding. This role involves providing administrative support, maintaining records, assisting students, and coordinating with staff and external stakeholders.The main duties include:Administrative support:
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Organise and maintain files, records, and documents
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and events as required
  • Assist in drafting and proofreading documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Manage office supplies and inventory.
Student assistance:
  • Serve as a point of contact for student inquiries and concerns
  • Assist students with administrative processes such as registration, check-in/out, and room assignments
  • Provide information and resources to students regarding facility rules, services, and activities
  • Address student needs promptly and effectively, ensuring a supportive and welcoming environment.
Record keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, activities, and incidents.
  • Compile and update student information, including emergency contacts and medical records.
  • Generate reports and summaries as needed for administrative purposes.
Communication and coordination:
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff and faculty members as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating events, programs, and activities for students
The position is available starting July 2024. As part of the recruitment process, candidates can expect to undergo a series of assessments, including proficiency tests, particularly focusing on Excel skills.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively promoting the ethos of RISE.

  • Preparation of periodic reports on the activities of the boarding school.
  • Assistance in the organisation of events and activities for the boarders in collaboration with various departments of our school and/or external parties.
  • Ability to work with Office software including excellent command of Excel.

Qualifications:
  • Qualification in relation to administration or equivalent
  • Successful experience in a similar position
Preferred
  • Experience as an administrative assistant in schools, ideally in a boarding school.
  • Experience working in an international school.
