Then watch .We are offering an opportunity to a team oriented and motivated person, who will enrich us with new approaches and ideas, and will actively help with the mechanical design for the next generation Blood Gas & Electrolyte (BGE) System. To our expertise belongs mechanical solutions for product care activities and new developments, as well as close collaboration with other teams, external partners, and centers of excellence.This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, on site.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain 3D CAD models including detailed drawings of individual partsDevelop, assemble, and test fluidic-, mechatronic-, thermal modulesDevelop mechanical part of electromechanical test setupsSupport the assembly of instrument prototypes and test setupsWrite technical requirements and specifications for mechanical components and units, as well as documenting the work results.Who You AreYou are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering and/or advanced training in biomedical engineering within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.Furthermore you areYou have good CAD tool application knowledge, especially Solidworks.You have experience of finite element calculations / simulation and tolerance.You are interested in the field of plastics technology.You want to experience being a part of an agile hardware development team, as you like the independent and structured way of working and you show a positive "can-do" attitude.You have good knowledge of spoken and written English, German is a plus.Technical details:The preferred start date for the internship is September 2024.
