Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable societyAbout the roleWe are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Pressure Equipment to join our Process Plants team in the Chemtech division.Key Responsibilities:Creation of equipment specifications and layout drawings according to internal and international applicable standards, customer specifications and contractual agreementsIndependent processing of process equipment and machine orders with support of purchasing, project management other specialized departmentsIndependent creation of purchasing specifications and purchase requisitionsChecking detailed documents created by external suppliers or customersSupporting the project management in the implementation of technical specifications, regulations, quality and deadlinesProject coordination and communication with external suppliers.Quality, cost and deadline monitoring and coordination of partial orders in direct cooperation with the suppliersSales supportParticipation on continuous improvement tasksTo succeed in this role, you will need:Technical educational, preferably mechanical engineering or a similar fieldA minimum of five years of experience in pressure vessels and rotating equipment design for applications in chemistry, pharma or oil and gas industryYour know-how in IT and MS Office applications is on a reasonable levelYou are a team player, customer oriented but also used to work self-reliantCommunication and organizational skills build an excellent basis for this versatile role. Moreover, attention to detail is needed, and you should feel comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams and projectsFluency in English is essential.
