Establish tolerances for fine optical alignment that balance cost and performance to meet targets in optical design
Design of optomechanical assemblies that meet the specification of the optical detection subsystem
Development of optical alignment fixture and other manufacturing procedures
Assemble, align, activate, and test prototype optical systems in laboratory environment
Your profile
Master Optics or Mechanical Engineer, with focus on spectrometry
Proven experience (
5years) in development of spectrometers * Designing, developing, testing, and support manufacturing new products or improving existing products
Experience in the use of gratings, filters, mirrors
Hands-on experience with optical systems in lab and manufacturing environment essential.
Knowledge of mechanical modeling software (Solidworks, NX)
Knowledge of assembly, mounting and adjustment of optical components
Expertise in developing and testing spectrometers, participating in all phases of a project, from design phase to support after launch on the market
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Fluent in English, knowledge of French is a plus
