• Develop URS and TechSpecs for AVI in IV bag applications
• Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, evaluating, and conceptualizing Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) technologies for IV bag production
• Conduct full-scale technology scouting, including vendor landscape analysis (qualified, early adopters, PoC, roadmap)
• Request and analyze budgetary quotations; perform vendor evaluations using KT-analysis
• Lead feasibility studies with vendors and document outcomes
• Design process layouts and develop holistic Concept Designs
• Facilitate supplier feedback and refine technical and commercial proposals
• Recommend preferred supplier and ensure handover to Basic Design phases
• Ensure execution readiness and alignment with project timelines (3–6 months)
• Travel to vendor sites and internal facilities expected (up to 30%)

• Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering or related industry
• Strong background in process engineering and visual inspection technologies, ideally in parenteral or IV bag manufacturing
• Expertise in AVI (Automated Visual Inspection)
• Experience in URS/TechSpec development, vendor management, and feasibility studies
• Demonstrated experience in implementing emerging technologies into commercial manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in visual inspection, including data requirements and algorithm validation
• Experience with PoC, prototype testing, and early-stage technology validation
• Strong project management and technical writing skills
• Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability and delivery focus
• Fluent in English (written and oral)
